Description: EWIS delivered External Wall Insulation and Brick slip systems to twelve residential blocks at Abden Avenue. Using Wetherby system, the facades were upgraded with a silicone render finish to the upper floors and a robust brickslip details to the ground floors. EWIS also provided specialist design input to optimise specification, reducing overall costs while enhancing durability and long term performance of the system.

Outcome/Impact: The scheme has significantly improved the energy efficiency of the buildings, supporting Birmingham city Councils carbon reduction targets. At the same time, the modern façade and brick slips detail have transformed the appearance of the blocks, creating a cleaner and more attractive estate. Works were delivered within budget and to programme, giving the residents and the client confidence in both sustainability and value.
